We had our FTC Android/JAVA Programming Workshop yesterday at City of Fairfax Regional Library.
We started with overview of the new platform, then the programming environment with Android Studio, FTC Apps (Driver Station and Robot Controller), FTC SDK, Event driven and linear programming model, example Op Modes, build, deployment, drive, Tele Op and then Test and Debug.
We also included Resources and helpful links for new teams, Award categories, Engineering Notebook requirements, and finally our lesson learned. We showed our last season's robot and also gave demo with our DemoBot we made this season.
Here's the PDF file of our presentation from the workshop!
