The Techie Titans started its journey in the summer of 2015, by primarily combining team members from 4 different FLL teams from Loudoun County and Fairfax County.
In our rookie season, we advanced to two State Championships (VA and MD), won 2nd place "Inspire Award" (best all-around team award) from Virginia State championship, and competed at the East Super-Regional championship in Scranton, Pennsylvania. 2016 - 17
At the February 25 State Championships, the Techie Titans advanced to East Super-Regionals again in its 2nd year. It was an intense competition among many great teams. We partnered with FROGBots and Tuxedo Pandas, and became the Winning Alliance in our division through awesome partnership. We also got Connect Award 1st place, and qualified for East Super-Regionals through both Connect Award and Finalist Alliance from State. We are also proud that our coach received Compass Award 1st place for “Outstanding guidance and mentorship to FTC team”.
At the December 17 Shenandoah Qualifier, the Techie Titans won the Inspire Award (1st place) as "overall best" and a role-model FTC team, along with getting nomination for Control Award, Motivate Award, and Rockwell Collins Innovate Award, and automatic advancement to State Championship.

2015 - 16
At the December 19 Shenandoah Qualifier, the Techie Titans won the "Think Award" for best documenting the journey of the engineering design process during the robot build season. We are very happy to have won this at our very first tournament.
At the January 17 Maryland Qualifier, the Techie Titans won the "Winning Alliance" award and 3rd place "Control Award". The Winning Alliance award advanced the Techie Titans to Maryland States. The Techie Titans also got the 1st place "Control Award" at Norfolk because of their advanced autonomous which scored 50 points consistently.
At the February 13 Virginia State Tournament, Techie Titans won the 2nd place Inspire Award and advanced to the Super-Regionals in Scranton, Pennsylvania. We also won three other awards which were the 2nd place Control Award, the 2nd place Rockwell Collins Innovate Award, and 3rd place Connect Award.
